We stayed to watch the fireworks in Boston Harbor. It was amazing. The staff was also great!!
Ok value - low price for a Boston hotel.
From the description online I thought the Inn would be more conveniently located to Logan airport.
Excellent location and lovely view of Barbour from balcony.
No food. Also a little isolated as far as transport amenities were concerned.
Clean hotel, beautiful surrounding, View on the bay and downtown Boston
Transportation to Boston somewath complicated
The staff member Ruanda was very friendly. She gave important informations about the motel. The motel was very clean, also the room. There were many towels and everything was fine.
the view of the harbor & the fresh smell of the harbor was awesome
the toilet area in our room was extremely small
I loved feeling like I was in a 1960's seaside resort. Upside is hearing sailboats chiming in the marina; downside is hearing all fo the planes going in and out of Logan.
We had a nice view of downtown Boston. The room was nice and comfortable but had no air conditioning.
Havent seen a refurbishment since many years. Planes taking off/landing straight over the hotel, luckily they changed the runway after the first few hours.
Rooms were clean and comfortable, Close to restaurants and airport. Kitchen facilities and lounge good. Washing machine and dryer available.a
Can't think of anything. Need to be aware that there is no lift if you are on the second floor.
It was the perfect place for me to stay while attending a conference in downtown Boston. There's a ferry that goes from the marina across from the Inn to downtown in just 20 minutes so I didn't have to rent a car. You can see the Boston skyline at night from the marina and if you want a beach walk, the ocean is only 2 blocks away. Also, within walking distance is Deer Island, with biking and walking paths that run along the ocean. The price was right--much cheaper than anything downtown--and the room was cozy, clean and with it's own little kitchenette. My only request is that you keep this wonderful place a secret!
The staff was very friendly and helpful but I wish they had told me I could take the ferry to downtown. I found out from someone on the bus on the way in.
It's a great location with couple of nice beaches to walk nearby and couple of great restaurants just a couple of blocks away. The staff at the Inn is great, the room is very nice with many modern design elements. If you book this place early, get a room on the 2nd or third floor facing downtown - great views of Boston. Finally, the ferry to Boston is two block south on Shirley Street and it's a very convenient way to get to the North End without having to drive there, pay the tolls, find parking and then pay whatever the astronomical price they charge for parking. The ferry on the other hand is only $8/person.
The first impressions are great but then you find out that the Logan departure runways shoot planes right over the Inn. Luckily, this slows a lot during the night with the time between flight being stretched out, and the nicely insulated doors and windows keep the noise down a bit. My wife and I are light sleepers but we still slept well there, amazingly.
Staff was very attentive. The room was very clean and tastefully appointed. Area quaint and we enjoyed walking around.
I'm thankful for my gps because it would have been difficult to find without it.
Local charm. The innkeeper recommended a great Italian restaurant within walking distance. It's a cozy and unpretentious inn.
The location of the inn, directly across the bay from Logan presented a noise problem. After 5 am, I heard every plane that took off to the north...a lot of planes.
Friendly staff, really nice location, an outdoor pool and we had a balcony. The hotel is in a nice town and near the ferry service to Boston.
Although the staff was friendly, they were not there when we checked out to catch the ferry. We had to leave our key in a drawer, but we never got a reply on our e-mail if everything was alright..
